Data Analyst - forecasting (remote)

Redstone Harbor Foods produces packaged foods at its San Diego plant. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on forecasting. We like people who take pride in what they make. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in sanitation schedules and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on allergen controls. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in San Diego. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
