Data Analyst - forecasting (remote)

Foxglove Clear Energy Partners supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around Houston. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on forecasting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in meter readings and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on billing disputes. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Houston. • We reply to every applicant.
