Data Analyst - forecasting (remote)

Greenridge Orchard Transit Planning is a transit-planning firm in Birmingham working with agencies and riders, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our forecasting. We value plain explanations. What you will do • Investigate trends in fare systems and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on ridership counts. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Birmingham. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
