Data Analyst - forecasting (remote)

Bluepeak Vale Staffing Group places workers with employers around St. Louis. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on forecasting. Speed and follow-up matter. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in timekeeping and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on temp assignments. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in St. Louis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
