Data Analyst - forecasting (remote)

Fernwood Kestrel Property Management looks after rental homes across the Cleveland area, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our forecasting. We are flexible about schedules. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in vendor invoices and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on unit turnovers. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Cleveland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
