Data Analyst - forecasting (remote)

Foxglove Quarry Energy is an energy provider in Providence focused on reliable service and fair billing, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our forecasting. We work closely with regulators and communities. What you will do • Investigate trends in usage data and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on hardship programmes. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Providence. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
