Data Analyst - forecasting (remote)

Lumen North Water Authority Group operates treatment plants and pipelines around Sacramento. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on forecasting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in capital projects and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on treatment plant data. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Sacramento. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
