Data Analyst - forecasting (remote)

Summit Beacon Markets serves neighbourhoods around Milwaukee with fresh food and everyday goods, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our forecasting. You would join a small organisation of about 22 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in shrink and waste and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on online orders. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Milwaukee. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
