Data Analyst - forecasting (remote)

Stonegate Kestrel Construction is a Oakland contractor with project managers, trades and support staff, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our forecasting. You would join a large organisation of about 621 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in project schedules and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on subcontractor invoices. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Oakland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
