Data Analyst - forecasting (remote)

Ironwood Vale Staffing is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for client orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in client orders and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on retention. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Seattle. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
