Data Analyst - forecasting (remote)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Birch Arts Center and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be forecasting. We run on creativity, deadlines and a lot of goodwill. What you will do • Investigate trends in school partnerships and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on exhibitions. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Knoxville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
