Data Analyst - forecasting (remote)

Cedar Kestrel Markets is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for shrink and waste, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We are friendly and busy, especially on weekends. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in shrink and waste and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on supplier deliveries. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Nashville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
