Data Analyst - forecasting (remote)

Lumen Fern Arts Center is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for volunteer programmes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in volunteer programmes and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on visitor services. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Atlanta. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
