Data Analyst - forecasting (remote)

Amberfield Pike Markets serves neighbourhoods around Toledo with fresh food and everyday goods. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on forecasting. You would join a small organisation of about 165 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in pricing and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on shrink and waste. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Toledo. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
