Data Analyst - forecasting (remote)

Bright River Financial is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for loan applications, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in loan applications and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on vendor spend. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Nashville. • We reply to every applicant.
