Data Analyst - forecasting (remote)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Cross Banking Services and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be forecasting. We promote from within and train well. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in card disputes and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on fraud alerts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Houston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
