Data Analyst - forecasting (remote)

Clearpath Hollow Environmental Services collects and processes waste and recycling around Omaha. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on forecasting. Early starts and steady work; we look after our drivers. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in landfill records and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on recycling loads. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Omaha. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
