Data Analyst - forecasting (remote)

Bluepeak Thistle Community Partners runs community programmes across St. Louis, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our forecasting. You would join a small organisation of about 27 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in donor records and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on food distribution. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in St. Louis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
