Data Analyst - forecasting (remote)

Westbrook Meadow Medical designs and makes medical devices in Houston. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on forecasting. Patient safety shapes every decision. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in production lots and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on training materials. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Houston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
