Data Analyst - forecasting (remote)

Rivermark Juniper Foods Group makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in Detroit. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on forecasting. We like people who take pride in what they make. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on production batches. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Detroit. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
