Data Analyst - forecasting (remote)

Harborlight Quarry Farms is an agricultural business based around Minneapolis, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our forecasting. You would join a small organisation of about 160 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Investigate trends in harvest schedules and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on cold storage. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Minneapolis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
