Data Analyst - forecasting (remote)

Highbridge West Transit Planning Group is a transit-planning firm in Indianapolis working with agencies and riders. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on forecasting. You would join a small organisation of about 170 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Investigate trends in route schedules and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on service alerts. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Indianapolis. • We reply to every applicant.
