Data Analyst - forecasting (remote)

Lumen Stone Freight Group is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for dock schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in dock schedules and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on proof of delivery. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Reno. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
