Data Analyst - forecasting (remote)

Summit Ventures plans bus and rail service for cities around Seattle. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on forecasting. Work is collaborative and map-heavy. What you will do • Investigate trends in fare systems and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on route schedules. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Seattle. • We reply to every applicant.
