Data Analyst - forecasting (remote)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Rowan Inspection Services and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be forecasting. Technicians travel and report carefully. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in test reports and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on field inspections. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Omaha. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
