Data Analyst - forecasting (remote)

Summit Bright Auto Group is a Houston company supplying vehicle parts and service. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on forecasting. Service hours are steady. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in parts orders and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on vehicle inspections. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Houston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
