Data Analyst - forecasting (Raleigh, NC)

Clearpath Granite Staffing connects candidates and employers across the Raleigh region, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our forecasting. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Raleigh. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in retention and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on timekeeping. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Raleigh. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
