Data Analyst - forecasting (Raleigh, NC)

Harborlight Ivory Inspection Services tests and certifies buildings, pipelines and equipment around Raleigh, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our forecasting. Training and certification are paid for. What you will do • Investigate trends in field inspections and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on scheduling. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Raleigh, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
