Data Analyst - forecasting (Providence, RI)

Clearpath Granite Manufacturing Partners makes precision components in Providence. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on forecasting. We value people who work safely and speak up. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in production lines and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on machine downtime. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Providence. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
