Data Analyst - forecasting (Providence, RI)

Greenridge Nest Markets Group is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for promotions, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Managers started on the floor. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in promotions and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on pricing. • Python or R for analysis.
