Data Analyst - forecasting (Providence, RI)

Rivermark Cedar Telecom Group provides broadband and phone service around Providence. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on forecasting. We keep people connected and take outages personally. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in customer tickets and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on outage reports. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Providence. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
