Data Analyst - forecasting (Providence, RI)

Ironwood Maple Financial serves customers across Providence with accounts, loans and payments. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on forecasting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Investigate trends in account servicing and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on vendor spend. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Providence. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
