Data Analyst - forecasting (Providence, RI)

Redstone Lantern Learning Group Associates operates schools and learning programmes around Providence. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on forecasting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in attendance records and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on student accounts. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Providence. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
