Data Analyst - forecasting (Portland, OR)

Fernwood Cross Foods Partners is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for customer specifications, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 28 people based in Portland. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in customer specifications and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on allergen controls.
