Data Analyst - forecasting (Portland, OR)

Rivermark Pike Learning Group is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for student accounts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Portland. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in student accounts and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on school calendars. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Portland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
