Data Analyst - forecasting (Portland, OR)

Lumen Fox Medical Group designs and makes medical devices in Portland, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our forecasting. You would join a small organisation of about 197 people based in Portland. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in regulatory submissions and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on production lots.
