Data Analyst - forecasting (Portland, OR)

Bluepeak Loom Pharma is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for release testing, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 152 people based in Portland. What you will do • Investigate trends in release testing and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on quality documentation. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Portland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
