Data Analyst - forecasting (Portland, OR)

Nova Lakeside Inspection Services is an inspection company in Portland with field technicians and lab staff. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on forecasting. Training and certification are paid for. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in field inspections and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on client sites. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Portland. • We reply to every applicant.
