Data Analyst - forecasting (Pittsburgh, PA)

Amberfield Linden Legal Group is a law firm in Pittsburgh serving businesses and individuals, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our forecasting. You would join a small organisation of about 22 people based in Pittsburgh. What you will do • Investigate trends in court deadlines and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on intake forms. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Pittsburgh, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
