Data Analyst - forecasting (Pittsburgh, PA)

We are growing our team at Lumen Quarry Transit Planning Group and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be forecasting. Work is collaborative and map-heavy. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in route schedules and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on service alerts. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Pittsburgh, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
