Data Analyst - forecasting (Pittsburgh, PA)

Lumen Rook Manufacturing Partners is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for customer orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in customer orders and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on production lines. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Pittsburgh. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
