Data Analyst - forecasting (Pittsburgh, PA)

Foxglove Wilder Insurance Group is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for policy renewals, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 43 people based in Pittsburgh. What you will do • Investigate trends in policy renewals and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on customer complaints. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Pittsburgh, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
