Data Analyst - forecasting (Phoenix, AZ)

Stonegate Timber Property Management Group manages apartment communities around Phoenix, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our forecasting. You would join a small organisation of about 145 people based in Phoenix. What you will do • Investigate trends in unit turnovers and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on resident events. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Phoenix, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
