Data Analyst - forecasting (Phoenix, AZ)

Amberfield Fern Freight is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for claims, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on loads and lanes. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Phoenix, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
