Data Analyst - forecasting (Philadelphia, PA)

Nova Timber Community Partners is a nonprofit in Philadelphia supporting families with food, housing and job help. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on forecasting. You would join a small organisation of about 85 people based in Philadelphia. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in client intake and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on grant reporting. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Philadelphia. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
