Data Analyst - forecasting (Omaha, NE)

Stonegate Oak Hospitality is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for food costs, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We work weekends and holidays and we make it fun. What you will do • Investigate trends in food costs and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on guest bookings. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Omaha. • We reply to every applicant.
