Data Analyst - forecasting (Omaha, NE)

Lumen Union Civic Services Partners provides shared administrative services to local governments around Omaha. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on forecasting. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Omaha. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in permits and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on budget submissions. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Omaha. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
