Data Analyst - forecasting (Omaha, NE)

Fernwood Pike Construction is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for permits, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We build things that last and we are honest about schedules. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in permits and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on safety records. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Omaha. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
