Data Analyst - forecasting (Oakland, CA)

Clearpath Drift Foods is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for allergen controls, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 254 people based in Oakland. What you will do • Investigate trends in allergen controls and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on cold storage. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Oakland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
