Data Analyst - forecasting (Oakland, CA)

Foxglove Juniper Foods Group produces packaged foods at its Oakland plant. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on forecasting. You would join a small organisation of about 22 people based in Oakland. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in cold storage and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on allergen controls. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Oakland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
